Your video card is going to make much more of an impact, just make sure you get the best card for the price and dont try so hard to get a ton of cpu cores.

I'm not a fan of gaming laptops because a powerful discrete GPU consumes a lot of power and dissipates a lot of heat. Plan to buy a cooling pad and only really game on it when it is plugged in. That being said any modern i5 or i7 with four digits will be fine as a CPU, and refer to this site for a GPU which is the most important component as far as gaming: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.130.0.html
A card with a 50% or higher rating could comfortably play any current Blizzard or Steam game up to 1920x1080. A GTX 660M is a 48% and would work fine, you might need to lower a setting or two or maybe find a laptop with a slighter smaller resolution with anything much less.
Laptop screens and resolutions are important, and the small features that make them so accessible such as a back-lit keyboard or Bluetooth are things that you might want to look for as well.
