GDKP Raids - Any plans on this?? - Talith - 10-22-2009 So, I was wandering the wow forums looking for a thread to troll and I found this one: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 1&pageNo=1 Pretty much a general explanation of the GDKP concept, the OP makes a reference to a very detailed thread in EJ: http://elitistjerks.com/f15/t77416-gdkp ... ur_server/ I personally had never heard of it and It looks like an awesome way to get more gold out of raids, I am a fan of selling drakes and shit like that with a group where we can carry other ppl. I think by know everyone in the server is aware of the WLPH Pugs and how they work, with now almost 3 different groups running in weekends have you ever considered maybe making one of these runs a GDKP?? Had you guys even heard about the concept?? I can already see Ony being as profitable as it was on the old times at lvl 60 in Nathrezim where we could carry half the raid for t2 helms and sell them. I personally think this idea can float down a river of shit and tacos. If wlph (or more specifically, Lorake) wanted to set up paid loot runs it would have happened. (Recently they have) I see little merit in a system like this unless its possible to always count on a group of 20 seasoned veterans carrying 5 bads to loot glory. If anything, implementing this type of system in one of our various pugs would probably do far more harm to their attendance, than good. Far be it from me to say this could never happen. I have so little to do with the pugs its laughable that I even bothered to comment. But thats my two cents. Also you get one crazy farmin azn in the raid or some rich 400lb white bread w/ 5millionhundredKthousand golds and no one gets loots =( unless you mix it up w/ the tally system, yeah everyone ends up with "5millionhundredKthousand golds /25" but gold being the leverage doesn't seem as fair. Re: GDKP Raids - Any plans on this?? - CAN - 10-29-2009 GKP runs owned, an old server i was on had a bunch of chinese guilds that did gkp mc runs all the gold was divided at the end of the raid between everyone in the raid, so if you didnt buy shit you came out a rich man(sorta) ps i didnt read the links at all but i assume its the same concept
