Well maybe not the "so long" part.

So its been a fun ride I guess. Ups and downs and what have you. In any case, with all the comments Ive heard from Abe recently about the "moonkin spot" apparently being up for grabs I figured I'd throw my voice in as well. I will say it would have been nice to be told of this decision, in an outright fashion... but thats besides the point. I'm not here to flame or bitch, its his guild and he can do whatever he likes with his available raid spots.

Obviously I haven't had 100% attendance over the last few months. Generally there is at least one night a week where Im either late or absent. This in itself is reason for some guilds to remove a player, but thankfully Ive been lucky enough to roll with WLPH. A place where great players aren't kicked to the curb because of minor things like that. (which is why Im not going to do any bitching Wink )

In any case my work related attendance issues aren't going to disappear. With the direction Abe wants to take the guild heading into ICC I don't want to be in a position where the raid could be left relying on a sub-par player or trial in a time of need because I cant be there. (let the jokes commence). As such, it makes more sense for the guild to find a new player for the moonkin role. Hopefully they are half as competent and can keep up my glorious tradition of shitting on all but the cream of the crop, of dps classes. (Admit it, you were graced by the king of Moonkins for over a year. rofl.)

Obviously I took (hell I still take) pride in being a part of WLPH... that much should be relatively obvious. The truth is, the unsettling knowledge that I have spent over 300 full days playing this game also led to this decision. Three hundred days of my life I have sat in front of my computer playing this game. (Just think about that for a while... assuming I were making a measly minimum wage of $10/hr during my playtime... that would be $72,000)

Long story short, I'm going casual. At least for the foreseeable future. If I am needed, I will raid... but going forward I wont be altering my schedule to ensure I'm sitting at my computer ready to rock at 8pm. ;p I want to thank everyone for the time Ive been able to spend with you. Even the scrubs... you know who you are. I hope that should I decide to begin raiding full time again, I may be able to fill a spot. I'll be around!
