We usually only gear people if we need a certain class and we have a surplus of mages right now. btw you're way over hit cap, why'd you enchant your gloves with +20 hit.

Had the gloves before my current chest, and I'm waiting to either replace the chest or get the trink from H VH which got stolen by a holy priest yesterday from me. When I was questing, I picked up alot of gear with hit, and I have yet to replace them.
And that was not my point, he made it sound like all the stats were completely different ones. Why generalize when you can easily say haste is different from crit? I am 100% aware they are, I know the reasons why they're different. From what he was saying, he was saying spellpower for my gear didn't work for FFB. "..they require completely different gear-sets and itemization..".
Completely? Try 1 stat.

Also, I said completely different gear sets, not completely different stats. The gear available now you have to choose between Haste and Crit the vast majority of the time. Thus, you use different pieces of gear, hence, a different gearset.
Edit: The reason we said this was so that you could improve your game, and perform to the best level that your gear allows you to. And thus, no, you don't do the best you can with the gear you're given, which is the point zoia made and the main point of discussion in this thread.

I still don't see how haste>crit for arcane translates to you completely different sets of gear. I've still no idea what you're trying to tell me either, I know how to improve my game, I don't need a broken record telling me I do. I didn't come in here to talk about 1 stat on mages and such. Don't try to tell me that they require "completely different gear" validates for haste>crit, since both specs can use both stats perfectly fine. I'm also pretty sure these are public forums and could care less who they belong to.
