NIGGER PLEASE
and even then you dont need to load the os its not like files need to be accessed rapidly besides startup
back to the main point
your computer is fine under.. if you feel it isnt performing optimally but want to avoid expensive expenditures just reformat and call it good
then when you have around 800-1000 extra then build a medium range computer
Formatted those HDS are like 28GB Win7 with all the updates is like 20GB's wow is 20 with the next expansion.....wait thats 40 and my drives only 32 gb..........................the computer he has is a piece of shit, Kipps is better. 500$ and some mineral oil and hes got a better cpu than you

Re: crazy times - lawlerbation the hardcore squatter - 05-24-2011
ok just addressed the whole os issue in my last post
dont need it on a ssd.. HAVING a 3sec STARTUP TIME COMPARED TO 10sec DOESNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE
ALSO MOTHER FUCKER
dont talk shit about mineral oil in the proper "case" with a sufficient cooling mechanism it can easily reach below ambient temperature on all components inside of a computer
Re: crazy times - CAN - 05-24-2011
gtx 560 or w/e the amd equivalent is
wait for something to die on your computer then upgrade the rest

Small SSD are great with Intel's Smart Caching on the Z68, but that's a full system overhaul. A 4 GHz Phenom II won't be bottlenecked by anything short of quad-Crossfire/SLI, it is far from ancient and memory speed isn't nearly as important as you think, lower latency RAM @ 667 is often higher performing than 800 or 933 MHz RAM in real world applications and games.
Under get a video card you can always use it in your new build down the road and today's video cards for around $250 are well over twice as powerful as yours and won't be bottlenecked by your system. Upgrading your video card is a no brainer to me.
A SSD would be a second option since it too can easily be swapped to a new build down the road, but it won't do nearly as much on your current system as far as gaming, compared to a video card.
Or spend thousands to get a Revodrive to use PCIe lanes, dip that bad boy in mineral oil and wrap it in some PATA ribbons for maximum cooling and performance.
Where is Mark? This Vox Novus nonsense is getting retarded.
Re: crazy times - lawlerbation the hardcore squatter - 05-24-2011
dude its wow
you dont need aax16 or anything for this fuck off looking game
without the settings turned to max his video card can easily run this game at 100+fps
with a few set to high and the more memory intensive settings set low he can easily run constantly above 60 fps
its fucking stupid to spend so much money on only playing wow

CAN Wrote:gtx 560 or w/e the amd equivalent is Be careful the GTX 560 is a different and inferior card to the GTX 560 Ti, and the AMD equivalent is the HD 6950. I'd recommend the GTX 480, GTX 570, HD 5870, or HD 6950 whichever you can find cheapest, probably around $250. Make sure your PSU can handle it and has the additional connections and if you are playing on a resolution less than 1680x1050 just save your money or get a SSD, mineral oil, and PATA ribbons.

Re: crazy times - Riinuka - 05-24-2011
SSDs are expensive? I got a 160GB SSD drive for 140 bucks. Not a refurb, from Fry's.
Re: crazy times - lawlerbation the hardcore squatter - 05-24-2011
140 for an ssd is expensive as fuck for storage
considering a 1tb can be as low as 50 dollars
going from an ide to an ssd is huge
going from sata to a ssd is meh
