About the graphics card I'm checking prices, I'm seeing two options
GTX570 $339.99 1.280 GB DDR5 running at 742 MHz
or
GTX560 $227.99 1 GB DDR5 factory OCd at 900 MHz
Probably the best option would be the 560 and then get another one in a few months, or should I go directly for the 570? 560 sucks its just a re-branded 460.
These are the four best single GPU cards available. If I had a $450-$480 budget for GPU(s) I'd go with either a 580 or two 6950s.
$480 GTX 580
$340 GTX 570
$340 HD 6970
$225 HD 6950
An EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card is $480. And the AMD alternative would be two of SAPPHIRE 100312-1GDP Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity are $225 each and include Deus Ex.

Hey Jack,
Thanks a lot for all the info! I'm going to take a look at these options and depending on the budget then probably I could go for 2 460s and overclock them as suggested, or if I can spare a few more bucks I'll get the 580, that one looks really neat.

Dunno why all the hate on raided SSDs, I've got my main OS on a pair in raid0'd SSDs (granted, they were early adopter-ish), and I'm never fucking going back.
And get 16GB of ram and make a huge fucking ramdisk. They're amazing.

I'd really recommend if you want an SLI or Crossfire you go with two 6950s, $225 each with copies of Deus Ex is a steal. If the 580 is too much then a 570 or 6970 now then another down the road are great options as well.

1) Remove components from inside PC.
2) Place components in a bucket
3) Cover in deep fryer oil
4) Enjoy WoW and french fries.
