Hard modes also yield a higher chance of Fragments dropping.

We started heroic Ulduar on the week of April 14th. This is our tenth raiding week of Ulduar and I currently have 22 fragments, so we average about 2-3 fragments a week; would have 24 but fucking retards in guild hit more clouds than airplanes.

Couple more weeks, give or take, until I can form mine! Better start working on Three Lights in the Darkness soon. Big Grin

The quest reads:

Throw the Shattered Pieces of Val'anyr into Yogg-Saron's maw while he's casting Deafening Roar and defeat Yogg-Saron and recover the Reforged Hammer of Ancient Kings.

This can only be completed in Heroic mode and only if at least one Ulduar Watcher is not assisting you.
