5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
M'uru, it was so tough that I lied to Stack and Die and told them my friend got in a car accident and was dying so that I could leave the raid without getting gkicked Seriously, I did.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:
Devour on Smolderthorn was my first raiding guild during TBC, I stuck with them from Gruul up until BT/Hyjal where it became apparent that they had to many horrible players to ever have a chance at killing Archimonde or Illidan and that they seemingly didn't care about end game progression. I then left Devour and transferred to Nathrezim where I raided for a short while with Stack and Die. I didn't raid for long with Stack and Die. After a few short weeks of raiding with Stack and Die the guild started to fall apart. They had members, officers, and class leaders leaving. It ended up getting to a point where they could no longer reliably form Sunwell raids. As I was starting to get bored with the game and was not having fun playing on a server where I didn't know anyone I ended up leaving the guild and the game. I now know I should have joined the only guild worth being in, WHARLEWTZPLZHALP, obviously.
I came back to WoW a few months later and transferred back to my original server, Smolderthorn. I started raiding again with Nexus which ended up dying because Drew likes to kill guilds off, he's extremely good at it as you can see from him also killing off Boss. After Nexus died there were no decent raiding guilds on Smolderthorn so I mainly pvped until Oracle was formed and I stayed with that guild until the end of BC.
During WotLK I have only raided in Boss, I took a 3 month break from raiding during Ulduar where I joined the Canadian military. After realizing I should finish school before getting into something like that I quit, came back, and started playing good old WoW once again. By nothing short of amazing luck Boss died approximately a week after I got back so I didn't get much gear from Ulduar.
7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through Thursday. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying):
I can.
8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:
I'm an elitist prick and I treat this game with the super serious focus it requires... actually I just enchant/gem my gear/flask/eat and then do work, its not exactly difficult to top dps meters as a rogue.
9. Post a screen shot of your UI (Thumbnail Please) or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER?
10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
I enjoy playing WoW with people that enjoy having fun and if shit talking Brethren isn't fun then I don't know what is. I also heard abec likes Hulk Hogan so I thought this would be quite a good fit.
