Furly told me someone here might know how to fix this.
I bought a logitech headset about 7 months ago and they worked fine on my old computer. Now that I have my new computer on vista 64 ultimate I plug in the usb and nothing happens.
Any idea why vista isn't recognizing the headset? I hope I dont need the exact model of the headset, I threw the box away months ago and I dont see any info on the actual headset.

It's probably issues with Vista + your motherboard.

Is that USB port recognizing other input devices... mouse, keyboard?
Play smarter, not harder.

need more info
a link of your headphones
service pack for vista
sound driver
obvious course of action is to make sure these are all up-to-date
and then if you still have problems google it or ask aragon

My Logitech headset did the same thing when I got a new comp w/ Vista. It's the only complaint I've had with the OS to date.
I found that plugging it in to the sound ports directly instead of going through the USB worked. Assuming you have a model that has a USB adapter on the end and didn't just come that way, give it a try.

I've had the same mic since I was in devils advocate which if you guys know the Abecpedia that was before AoTR, Guardians of the Faith, and even Discipline/Seven Sins.
I dont think 7 month old hardware is that bad.
