5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
Muru prenerf: jesus christ almighty i hate tht fkin boss and i try to organise a sw pug weekly with full 80s just to kill him repeatedly for making me go through with that fight...we did it 5 healers because our 4th tank was really shit and dcs constantly which was a nightmare for tbc with the lack of dualspec...16DPS...a fuckload of adds which needs to be tanked/cced/spellsteal buffs etc...also because of the need to save lust for p2, dps was really working their ass off ccing and dpsing the seemingly endless adds. One of our pally MT tried so hard to get out of the raid by destroying his kalecgos tanking sword and lied to gm about game error etc...so yeh...endless wipes...same fight...took us like 2 weeks full of wipes to get him to 50% as entropius...then final week...we just went bankai and pwnt his face and the rogue class leader took the naaru silver trinket and server xfered...WEEEEE...

Left because I impulsively clicked the fac change buttons and regretted it 5 mins later only to find out that my credit already went through...now im stuck on alliance being laughed at for being a retard and puggin everything...it's p miserable...

Yes, my timezone is NZST which is 16 hours ahead of u making it noon-4pm my time which is very good...
However I can't come on ur Monday because I have classes that afternoon, rest all good.

Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? I take pride in topping meters and especially when i beat locks...I'm not a gear nazi or drama whore who diss other players, I can take a joke and get along with almost any1 and every1....I'm from New Zealand so yeh u'll probly laugh at my accent...also, I think I'm a good mage with bad luck...I hope it change when I leave original server...

ur guild site is the only site which took me 15mins just looking at the frontpage...I think u guys have a sense of humour and are prbably easy going enough to fit me in And also because I need a USA guild because my uni life makes me unable to raid oceanic times...

Your arcane spec is slightly off. Arcane Potency is superior to SotM in pretty much every sense. If you look at it mathematically, for two points Arcane potency gives you 30% additional crit on clearcasting procs, which have a 10% chance of occuring. SotM for 3 points gives you 10% more spirit. If you have 1000 spirit, a 10% increase would be 100 spirit, and considering the crit rating/crit chance ratio is in the neighborhood of 46ish, and that even with t9 2 piece only 70% of your spirit is converted to crit rating, which leaves you with 70 crit rating which is less than 1.5% crit chance, for a 150% cost in talent points.

Also you should be doing a lot more dps than 5.7k.

you could also change your fire spec to have combustion also since the change it got is significant.

About my arcane spec: I have tried various specs and not spending 3 in SOTM, however with the 2pc t9 which I got a week ago I specced into it to test the crit bonuses. Respecing into arcane potency is no problem. Same with combustion, however I don't feel its effects are that significant but obviously might be wrong. My concern with crit rating is that it's purely RNG based with a higher probability as crit is stacked, however stats like sp/haste are always there and is constant...I have been trying with relative high haste and acceptable sp gears...the crit rating are completely irrelevant to me at least since 2pc t9 + molten armor kinda makes me 35% crit or more self buffed no matter what....

And no...I have never died 5 times in a fight...dps is dependent on fights...5-6k dps for koralon i believe is fine...since gta dodge fire and watch hp really closely as fire spit + ground fire = dead...and also...our shaman died 10 sec into the fight...
