I found the short, it looks like it was the stereo, the guy before me use the wrong adapter to convert the GM stereo connector and the dimmer was causing a short. I'm not positive yet, I'll have to drive it around for a while and see what happens, but thats what it seems at the moment.

Ethax it was something else but luckily it was right behind the stereo, some wire stripped and was touching metal. I have no idea what it went to, something that says lectron or something on it, might be apart of the anti theft shit.
So glad i stopped being lazy and fixed it.

Nice, anytime you have someone mess with shit it can turn into a disaster. Wiring problems are the biggest pain in the ass to try and find, especially when it's in/behind the dash.

I don't mind helping people out, I have access to alot of expensive wesbites/support sites and if anyone has questions feel free to ask, alot of times its a common problem and a simple search of TSB's and/or PiP's can pinpoint the exact problem.
If you drive a 1992 escort piece of shit and want to know what that rattling noise is in the back I'm sorry I can't help you there.

Ethax I am driving a '99 silver Cadillac Seville with a North Star V8 engine. She has just over 100k miles on her but the engine is brand new. Also has brand new tires, and I paid just over $4,000. Am I a badass irl or what?
