My gear is finally getting better so i thought i'd app for a raid spot

5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected
you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In
your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
i think kael'thas and illidan were some of the hardest bosses ive killed, back when they
were hard in TBC.

7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through

8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of
all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never
pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major

i always come to raid fully repaired with enough pots and flasks to last me the night. my
main concern is to not pull aggro because dead dps = no dps

no i am not a clicker, i use recount, omen, bagnon, deadly boss mods, bartender, ag unit frames and elkano's buffbars

you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?

1. You must know the ins and outs of every fight, DKs are the most durable of any dpser, if you die before the tank you wont last long. Which has been a problem in the past, hell we even made bets on when you would die on fights.

you will never ever pull threat ever unless you are dumb and are in frost presence or you taunt. which reminds me i should probably get rid of omen and free up some space on my screen.

We're also trying to recruit 'smart' players so dying to shit on the 2nd or 3rd week of you doing something because you still don't understand mechanics is epic fail. It is up to you to be prepared for the content we are doing, not up to us to prepare you to catch up.

a lot of people are hating on me because of ulduar which is understandable because i keep dying. but the reason i haven't been taking ulduar seriously is the fact that soon enough we will done with it and will probably never raid it again after the next legendary mace we get. i've been really busy with gearing towards totc heroics, for example i just got my jewelcrafting high enough for the BOP gems, and i am now working on sons of hodir rep. after that i need to save up 5k gold for a greatness card as well as leveling blacksmithing, so i still have a long way to go. all i am saying is i have been blowing off ulduar only because i am doing other things which will gear me for harder instances quicker.for some people that still isn't a good enough excuse but if you were in my position you would probably do the same. as for totc i know all the strats now so i don't have a problem there. you guys have been clearing ulduar for a long time now and i've only done it 3 times, you cant expect me to know every single thing about 14 different bosses. so please don't judge me on just one instance.

as far as i am concerned ulduar was your trial period and you failed pretty hard. its really really fucking hard to shake that first impression. if you dont even put in the time to learn the easy stuff we are never ever going to bring you to anything higher than that. shit I did not even die that much when we were first learning the fights. knowing totc fight strats dont mean shit pugs have been 1 shotting them since day 1.

Having played with Matose through much of BC... what little time we gave him to show his performance is not indicative of his ability. That much I can say. Harp on him for not bothering to learn the fights, its fair. But dont forget he hasnt spent the last year raiding in wotlk as many of us have. Just don't assume he would perform the same way if he were to step into IC with us, is what Im saying.

he and anyone else can say hes good all they wants, that doesnt mean shit. until he can show us he doesnt suck (IN ULDUAR), he will never ever get into anything past normal totc in this guild.
