Just got out of the Avatar midnight show. Saw it on a literally brand new premiere edition of a new kind of projector with a ~4500 resolution and amazing 3D shit. Movie was incredible. Absolutely nothing 'original' about it plotwise, but the lore and the immersion is top notch, and it's visually just...wow.
There is nothing you could be doing that's more important in your life than seeing Avatar this weekend.

If you think saying that at least one blue guy dies in a movie about a GLOBAL WAR between humans and blue guys is a spoiler, you're ridiculous. That'd be like spoiling Star Wars by saying it takes place in space and has battles.

Maybe I see too many movies but avatar was not good in my eyes.....the animations were top notch but everything else was boring and made little sense. It would have been better to take acid before going however because it was a giant light show the whole time.
