I rage quit earlier today, just figured I'd make it final.

Reasons for quitting are two-fold. The first is that this guild isn't the happy home I joined back when Sunwell was just about to come out. There's still some great folks, to be sure, and I love you guys to pieces, but it's just not fun being in guild any more. There's too many people who are worse than nobodies, who will sit back and talk shit and make noise and not be good for much else. Granted, that fits a lot of people (myself included), but there's just no soul in it anymore.

The second reason is Mininolan. He's been harassing me consistently since I rejoined, and for a good deal of time before I quit the first time. The whispers, spam, getting other people to spam me for him, getting on alts to continue it, even carrying it to vent (where he'll be banned, and then people will unban him immediately and fucking moan about how he shouldn't have been banned in the first place) all finally took their toll. The fact that nobody is allowed to do anything about it is pretty fucked up, too. I wish whoever his new target is has better luck than I.

I agree with the first portion of your post. Far too many fucktards in guild now. A million fucking terrible friends rank making us look like shit. Some people dont care, others like me obviously do. The atmosphere has changed in no small part to all of the fucking parasites and friends of friends who pollute WLPHs once proud roster.

As far as quitting because of Mini... lol... idk what to say about that. Some people hate him, some love him. Im going to sick him on all the friends rank. YOU HEAR THAT MINI? YOU WANT INNERVATES? HARASS NO LESS THAN 1 FIREND RANK TO THE POINT OF GQUITTING PER DAY.

And the complaint of trade chat quality friends rank was true back in sunwell, we just had less of them, because we were a smaller guild. We've grown, so obviously the rabble has grown as well. Otherwise the home is still the same, don't see the differences.

I dunno. I have to agree with Steke on both points. Neither is at all bad enough to make me want to quit, but they're not things I like either.

I get that we're a trade chat guild and we want to be a home to everyone. But there really are a lot of friend ranks. And many of them are not beneficial for the guild at all. This is probably a moot point now though, as I see Abe culled about a hundred of them last night. Very nice.

I'm not sure if my tolerance has gone down or Mini has ramped it up lately, but it's getting to be a bit much. No one member should be allowed to have such a negative effect on so many others. Personally, I'm pretty sure I'm just done running with him in anything that's not a main raid. Him needing on shit that guildmates and main raiders want and then selling it to them is complete bullshit. As is purposely sabotaging our organized PUGs. That idiocy is not okay.

One thing I have seen lately that I really don't approve of is the way we treat PUGs. Specifically the actual random PUGs that we run. The non-signup, spur of the moment, honest to goodness PUGs. Ninja looting shit without explaining the rules beforehand (or worse, telling people the rules are one thing to get them to join and then doing another) and randomly kicking people out after we've saved them to the instance because someone thinks it's funny should not be tolerated. Bad, asshole, retarded guilds do that. And it is definitely not the kind of rep I want for WLPH.

There is a fine line between being a funtime guild and being immature dicks that I think many people have crossed.
