You said you started shortly after the start of TBC, roughly the same time I did. However, you did not list any fights significantly harder than Vezax or Anub i.e. Vashj or KT pre-nerf, Archimonde, M'uru, etc. Did you not raid for all of TBC, or did you simply pick your opinions of the hardest bosses of the current expansion for more relevance? Personally, with the dramatic ease of gearing out now, and the lack of extremely difficult content, I find pre-wotlk experiences more important for judging competence.

I would also highly suggest the pug runs which are better than many guilds (killing rotface and festergut the first week iirc), and potentially (obv. depending on performance) getting a spot for hardmodes when healing demands can be stronger.

I took a while to level initially (paladin with no spec until 40, since I didn't have friends who played WoW to tell me I could respec if I changed my mind...) and was a lot more into pvp. The friends I did make had played since beta, and their derogatory opinion of raiding pretty much convinced me to write it off without even trying it. We were pretty pro at sitting in front of the Scryer bank on our gladiator mounts, though.

I didn't start raiding until right before Sunwell came out, and that was with a less than stellar guild that got stuck on Brutallus. So unfortunately my experience of TBC raiding is limited to Black Temple and Kalecgos before I took a break to try Warhammer while waiting on Wrath.

I will definitely be signing up for your pugs (hopefully I can nab a spot tonight), give you a chance to see if I'm retarded, get to know you guys and stick around to see what you need for hard modes.

I though you quit like two weeks before our Anub kill but that we harassed you back in for it cause our other PC healers were fail and/or not around?

No I raided 100% till our Anub kill and never told anyone I was quitting until after the kill. I did get "harassed" into coming back for some insanity attempts one time though.
