1. Your age, gender, and time played: I am 24 years old, a guy, and my /played is 132 days, 6 hours, 6 minutes, and 6 seconds as I type this.
2. List any alts and off specs you have gear for AND CAN PLAY COMPETENTLY (your main should be able to respec and play any spec on the fly): Not a big alt guy, do not have any.
3. Armory links (mandatory): [recruit loc="us,DARKSPEAR"]Heledir[/recruit]
4. Any WWS or WMO links or other clear indication of your performance in a raid (recommended): I was on leave for a few months, just starting to play again so I have nothing that I can find as of right now from my 25 man experiences.
5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?: Hm...I would have to say the hardest boss that I've ever defeated was probably Felmyst. Just an all around difficult encounter for people to pay attention, but finally getting him down was quite gratifying.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact: In Vanilla, on Nathrezim, I was in Elysiun as a mage, and saw all the way up through Huhuran in AQ. Then I transferred to Dethecus on my mage, and our guild, Saga, needed a new druid, so I powerleveled him up to 70 during the beginning of SSC/TK so that I would be able to help out the guild. We went all thew way to Sunwell Muru when my computer decided to die on me and I was unable to raid for a bit until I could get a new computer (guess the library at school wouldn't have liked me raiding on their computers). When LK hit, I transferred back to Nath and was in In and Out until it died due to horde transfers, then I went to And My Unicorn Army and raided there until that died. Some unforseen circumstances in my life made me take a 5 month break and now I am coming back and looking to get back into things.
7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Tuesday through Thursday, during progression we will raid Sunday and Monday as well starting at 8 ST and ending when all encounters are defeated. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying): I am available any and every night to raid, I know that my gear lacks quite a bit, and I am in the process of regemming my gear as well as picking up new pieces.
8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are: Ever since BC I've been looking for a guild that is as competitive as the guild I was in on Dethecus. I was a resto druid back when in BC and leveled up because my guild couldn't seem to find a resto druid that was a good fit on our server. When Lich King came out I switched to feral dps and have been that ever since. I practiced on the target dummies and generally have a competitive drive. My biggest point of pride keeping my feral dps rotation under close watch, and figuring out a way to improve the rotation in certain situations (moving, downtime, etc.) I was a math major in college and have spreadsheets on my other computer of dps rotations and situations and when to use what skill. I think that my level head in a dicey situation, and not getting discouraged is what separates me from the rest. I bring my best on every fight, and do not get upset when I am criticized or am given pointers.
9. Post a screen shot of your UI or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER? Attached it to the post...hopefully that is suitable.
10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there? I am a Nathrezim orphan, and I've seen what you guys do. I like that you guys get in the heads of the competition and push yourselves harder than they do as well. I had a friend rank in your guild and you guys are very motivated as a group, as well as top tier players. I know I am in need of gear/regemming, and I know who I'm applying to. I'm not looking to get into raids right away clearly, but I am looking for a shot somewhere down the road when my gear is fit to compete with your top players. I do look forward to hearing back from you guys, as well as your input. I chose you guys because my current server is full of feral druids, and I see you're in need of one at some point down the road. Thank you for reading.
