1. Your age, gender, and time played:
18, Male, 180 days between all toons.
2. List any alts and off specs you have gear for AND CAN PLAY COMPETENTLY (your main should be able to respec and play any spec on the fly):
80 Mage (arcane), Shaman (elemental/resto), Paladin (ret/prot/holy), Death Knight (blood tank)
3. Armory links (mandatory):
[recruit loc="us,Scilla"]Janalei[/recruit]
4. Any WWS or WMO links or other clear indication of your performance in a raid (recommended):
http://worldoflogs.com/reports/lrwi9qzr ... alingDone/ - a little out of date; Simplicité's data reporter was involved with a guild schism shortly after this.
5. We are a raiding guild and are usually in the top 100 guilds in the US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL encounters and hard modes currently in game! In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
Professor Putricide and Blood Queen 25 seemed to be the biggest pains in the ass for Simplicité to kill, because they lacked coordination to an extreme that's never before been seen. Like a dancer with fifteen left feet. Other than that, most Wrath content's been easy. Wasn't around to raid during BC or Vanilla, though I wish I could have.
6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:
Absolution (Smolderthorn): Transferred to Scilla under the name Unspoken.
Unspoken (Scilla): Worst group of players EVER.
Murloc Patrol (Scilla): Merged into Dragoran Guard
Dragoran Guard (Scilla): Left to rejoin Absolution leadership
Simplicité (Scilla): Left after leadership left server.
If you really wanna contact someone for a reference, I'm sure Cazzo can provide some information, as well as Kikkoman of Brethren.
8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:
I take my job as a healer rather seriously, and if there's some way I can prevent someone from dying without jeopardizing myself, I'll at the very least try it. I love topping meters, but I realize on certain fights that it's pretty impossible for the class in certain setups, and I won't go out of my way to try in these cases, again, so I don't jeopardize myself.
9. Post a screen shot of your UI or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER?
The only abilities I actively click are buffs and out of combat things of the sort (i.e. shapeshift into tree, out-of-combat rez)
10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
Well, to be honest, you're not my first choice. I aimed high and got shot down from Casual for the simple fact that they have too many resto druids (and I likely didn't fit the bill anyway). I'm actually expecting much the same here, but I figure it's worth it if I can get a trial. As a side note, I already realize that my Jewelcrafting isn't up to par yet. I'm actively power leveling it and it will be in an operable range very soon. I also realize that you've already stated in your "WLPH is Recruiting" thread that you don't really need more healing classes besides disc priest.
