since when were potions, healthstones, bandages or trinkets mage specific?

also, i thought they made it mana inefficient to use downranked spells? why two ranks of flamestrike?

Flamestrike rank 9, Flamestrike rank 8, Blizzard for most AoE damage. The damage over time from both flamestrikes stack. Could even go as far as 3 flamestrikes if you needed to.
