I intend to have a forum post for every time we fail at immortal until we get it. If it's an obvious mistake you take the pun (purpose of the BADS page) or if it's a complicated mistake we figure out how to fix it by looking into logs and mechanics. Threads that everybody can see and comment on are more beneficial than yelling on vent, docking DKP, buying bags, etc.

So grats Alyse this week, at least there are no WoW Web Stats or combat logs to look into, you just fucked up pal, easy fix

And hopefully this is the last post of this kind, since we've experienced just about every RNG, unlucky, lagged, and bugged misfortune we could on immortal runs.

It's retarded that Thorran even got that low in the first place. When we were just starting spider wing, our last wing; I pst'd abe that maybe we should put marks over all of the healers heads for Sapph just in case people are out of range of certain healers so they can quickly glance up, see a symbol and call out the name of that symboled healer for a quick heal in case said healer was maybe healing everyone but him or was preoccupied.

I'm not saying it woulda stopped this from happening but alyse even said he got afraid thorran was gonna die cuz of that dumb shit and may have very well helped to quickly yelp out for a heal from someone close by.

Granted he may have done his best to get out of it, and maybe it was just the stress of the situation but it seemed like thorran was in the blizzard for some excessive amount of time. maybe he accidentally ran WITH it for a second I'm not sure, as I said coulda just been one of those THIS IS TAKING FOREVER, but it really only lasted a second situations. Either way I guess it's healable even if he stood in it all day. None the less, standing in blizzard is a serious issue I dont see people really working on for whatever reason. And this is definately gonna be something for pallies to keep in mind when popping bubble just to stand in blizzard and heal instead of saving it for the oh shit situation like alyse needed tonight.

Next time I'm just gonna spec coh like I asked, chaining iceblock on KT is definately avoidable but with multiple people with those on demand aoe heals its not that scary of a concept. I don't know what the science is behind KT randomly killing Doodah or if it's avoidable but that was gay too.

It would be nice to work out a way to keep people from dipping so low, but the bottom line wasn't Thorran's fault. It was my fault for tunnel-visioning on him. Regardless of his heath, I should have taken an extra split second longer to make sure I was in a safe place. Keeping other people up does no good if I die myself.
