1. Dear sirs, my name is Plareplane, and I am a priest of the shadowy kind. I've been playing since Wrath came out and I wish to join your merry band of adventurers.
2. I melt faces and I also heal, and you can see both sets of specs and gears here:

The specs are pretty cookie cutter, and I don't think there will be many questions about them except for why or why not 5/5 improved mind blast. It's not much of a dps gain or loss either way, and what gain/loss you do have has more to do with your latency/reaction time from having only to use mf instead of mf/mb rather than the spec itself, so I just use 5/5 improved mind blast to give myself the option of using it as (in)frequently as I want. If I drop improved mind blast it would be to put 3 points in shadow affinity and 2 points in focused mind. I also play holy from time to time (and used to be disc/holy in Ulduar).
As for gear, I have too much spirit in my shadow gear because I started as a healing priest that rolled for gear that was usable for both dps and healing in order to be useful (or useless) in all specs quickly, before picking up pieces useful for only one spec. My healing gear as shown isn't minmaxed for a 25 man holy or disc role (although picking up all the bonuses and gemming a bit of haste is useful if I actually have to cast heals... like in 10 mans), but if I know that my offspec will need to be full time holy or disc I can gem full haste or full spellpower to suit the role. I have both regen and throughput trinkets to throw in the mix depending on the circumstances.
I have a similarly but slightly lesser geared mage that can step in if all your mages are unable to log in and provide a table one night:

4. I've been running with a few of the WLPH pugs for months now, and you can see the (more recent and not expired) logs here:

5. I was levelling and being bad during Naxx with a casual guild named Timeless as a disc (and, rarely, holy) priest. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, Timeless ended up in a shortlived guild named Beached Whale at the start of Ulduar, where I was a disc/holy priest. They killed Yogg4 midway through the Ulduar patch and then imploded in a bit of backstabbing here and a bit of conspiracy there into Behold Wonderous Rapidity, which I named but did not raid with because I moved and stopped playing until ICC came out. I rejoined a bunch of the same people, now known as Power Word Friendship, and picked up a shadow spec because we already had a disc/holy priest. We killed undead dragons until everyone got their ICC10 drakes and stopped raiding due to a variety of scheduling circumstances 2 months ago.
6. I can make those raid times. My connection is usually decent except for disconnecting twice a day at predictable times, one of which is sometime during typical raiding times. I can't do much about that although I can usually tell before I'm about to disconnect. If I happen to disconnect on a shadowtrap well I'm sorry.
7. I use Grid2, Clique, DBM, Omen, and Tidy Plates. Sometimes I use Quartz and Recount. I don't currently have a timer mod because I'm bad.

8. I want to join WLPH because you're looking for a shadow priest and I'm looking to wipe on bosses instead of running laps around Dalaran for 8 weeks and counting. I think more than a few of your raiders know me or know of me, which should help you decide whether to accept or reject my application.
I'm afk on the bench at sb a lot and check this forum probably at least once a day, so if you have questions or criticisms, fire away.
