*** I'm not new to dps, but it isn't my strong point and my reason is I've always played double Restoration. (I've never had to change specs for a raid, even though I don't mind.) However I'm still learning the niches. I at least have the basic understanding of knowing when to switch targets, pop cool downs at the right times (via Heroism/Bloodlust, trinket procs, or another type of buff), knowing the in and outs of statistic caps, etc.

Overall I used bear to see things from a melee perspective.

I know it's important to provide a parse because it's clarification of your play style in numbers (especially when applying to a raiding guild like, WHAR); however, I don't have said parses. The last parses I had was when I was with Irregulars. Hopefully a general write up of my class and spec knowledge, raiding history, and understanding of WoW mechanics will be enough. Now I should of used World of Logs this week when I did my VoA/ICC runs, but wasn't thinking about it at the time. :violin:

Class & Spec Specific
Three talent trees who provide inseparatable/separatable buffs and debuffs.

Balance provides reduce change to hit by 3%, chance to hit with spells by 3%, spell critical by 5%, haste by 3%, and spell damage taken by 13%. The only thing in Brambles I would list is increased damage to Thorns for tanks or other fights like Leo the Blind: when fighting your demon. Balance fills the range caster of the druids (obviously).

• » Priority list (opening): FF, M, IS, FoN, Starfall, Wrath spam until Lunar proc, spam Starfire until Solar proc
  » Wrath spam until Lunar proc, spam Starfire until Solar proc = viceversa.
  » Priority list: Keep FoN and Starfall on cool down. Keep dots refreshed when a Eclipse proc isn't up.
  » Use Hurricane for packs of mobs.

Feral provides additional bleed damage increased by 30% (aka Trauma), increased range/melee critical by 5%, 4% chance for members to heal themselves by 4% (melee and hunter only), and reduce attack/movement speed. You can also pick up Feral Aggression/improved Demoralizing Roar (reduce ap by an extra 40%). Feral fills the tanking and melee dps of druids (obviously).

• » Feral (Cat): Bash your head against your keyboard until you get a brain hemorrhage.
  
  » Feral (Bear)(Single Target): FF while charging, Mangle at melee range, 1x Lacerate, pop Berserk, spam Mangle. When Mangle is back on cd, stack 5x Lacerate, keep Demo up if Vindication/Shout effect isn't up, FF, Mangle, 2x Swipe, FF, Mangle 2x Swipe, etc. Keep Lacerate stacks refreshed at every two seconds, keep Demo refreshed, and Berserk when off cd.
  
  » Feral (Bear)(Multiple Targets): Swipe/Maul macro. Maul should work left to right, right to left. That way the threat is getting increased amongst targets.

Restoration provides extra incoming healing for all healers by 6%. We also increase our spells through gear and talents, which we cushion the raid with said heals. Restoration druids are the mobile healers (healing on the move), next to Holy priests. We focus our healing tactics in active and preemptive situations. An active fight has recurring damage as preemptive fights have anticipated damage. You either keep hot up-time and/or predict incoming damage, then healing when and where needed, while keeping a steady flow of hots on your tank(s). WE ALSO HAVE REVITALIZE. FORGOT TO PUT THAT. sorry.

• » Active damage fights like: Council Twins or Blood Queen, I use the method of wall hotting (5:1 ratio). I work left to right or right to left, cushioning the raid in Rejuvenations and Wild Growths. If I'm on raid 99% of the time, the 1% is the tanks' healing. I keep up Regrowth 100% and try to keep up Rejuvenation if I have a free gcd.
  
  » Preemptive situations: if a fight only has *sometimes raid damage*, I'll use bossmods to know when the damage is incoming. That way, I know when to cast. This gives me a few seconds before had. Most of the time the damage is every 30-60 seconds, so I keep my eyes on the tanks or any idiot taking unnecessary damage. Example of these type of fights are Algalon NrB or Professor.

All specs will provide improved [Mark/Gift of the Wild] with their builds, a combat rez aka [Rebirth], out-of-combat rez aka [Revive], a spell to restore mana aka [Innervate], a burst heal for whatever group they are in aka [Tranquility] (think heroic Twins), and reduce armor aka [Faerie Fire]. At times you'll need to decurse and depoison with [Abolish Poison] or [Remove Curse]. You may use [Cyclone]/[Entangling Roots] to cc a raid member who is mind control or for an add. I remember rooting the Scouts in ZA on bear runs. Blah blah blah. Balance and druids can use Hurricane for mob packs, as Feral uses Swipe in bear or cat. Hurricane offers a debuff which increases time in between attacks.

Glyph Rundown - Majors

• » [Glyph of Swiftmend] is used in every spec.
  
  » [Glyph of Rapid Rejuvenation] and [Glyph of Rejuvenation] are both important and will be used on certain boss encounters (or working together). Debate between normal and hard modes, on where you think it would be suitable to use these.
  
  Note: Rapid Rejuvenation will still do the same amount of hps, but quicker topping of raid members' health. What you truly are losing out on is time. 2:1 ratio.
  
  » [Glyph of Wild Growth] Having a sixth target is important, but may be outweighed by other glyphs.

I was almost a victim of cancer. So I didn't want the stress of raiding seven nights a week to get in the way and I had some other personal stuff I had to take care of. I believe they broke up because of heroic 25 LK? I could be wrong. My character's name was Tuun.

*** Please note that their is a lot of guilds, but a lot of the guilds were mediocre and progression lacked through the seems. Attendance and showing up was hard for people I guess. Recruitment was slow I guess. I don't know. Casual people will be casual I guess.

Some people like one night of raiding, some people like three nights of raiding, and I like seven days a week raiding. Yeah I try to encourage myself to raid this much. Some people hate wiping, I love wiping. The only time I'd miss a raid is if I had a emergency; which, is a rare occasion.

The reason I'd like to join you is because no other guild will take me, if I can't say the word nigger. I mean. Common. Niggers. NO REALLY. Nigger. The real reason I'd love to be apart of your core is because I have an extensive raiding history, understanding of the game's roles and modules, I know how to research class and boss fight mechanics correctly. I'm a player always thriving to be the best or at least trying to. I won't take no to min/max in a small amount of time. If I make a mistake, I fix it their and if I can't, I'm a total idiot. I'm not a drama queen, whore, cracker with teeth coming out the side of his face, etc.

Back on the topic though, I'll come to every raid prepared and ready to go on time. Showing up for raids isn't always what's important. I'll be there for when the guild needs me most (10s, farming old instances for gear for progression, etc). LOOT is not my priority. Many people wont say this, but I see my character as the guild owning - NOT ME. I gear my character with the right pieces for the guild's usage and then apply the correct skills to meet class specifics. These are the reasons why I think I'd make a great aspect to your guild.

I've been out of raiding for awhile now, but that doesn't mean I haven't been trying to pug different instances, to keep my stamina from becoming fat. I'm missing some primary objectives and I know I'm not ready for heroic LK or Halion. I know that's where your progression is. I need my four piece (shoulders and legs). Even though the four piece is complete shit because of the proc chance, it's still very viable. I need the badge healing trinket, which is bis for us trees. I haven't been able to gather enough badges for those three pieces, nor has my luck been that great.

*** I need to switch back to the ICC rep ring. Using the Balance one because of gearing up for Balance.

I had a paladin I leveled to 80 on Scilla, but deleted her. I had a 75 shaman I brought when I transferred to Scilla, but deleted her. I can't keep an alt. I just haven't found the right race and class I want to level. Maybe Cataclysm will open doors.

Restoration has been my main spec since way before the BC beta. As far as enjoying the tree hugging aspect and no homo lifestyle, I've only played that spec and have no needs to remove it from being my main spec.

Some people like one night of raiding, some people like three nights of raiding, and I like seven days a week raiding. Yeah I try to encourage myself to raid this much. Some people hate wiping, I love wiping. The only time I'd miss a raid is if I had a emergency; which, is a rare occasion.

8. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
The reason I'd like to join you is because no other guild will take me, if I can't say the word nigger. I mean. Common. Niggers. NO REALLY. Nigger. The real reason I'd love to be apart of your core is because I have an extensive raiding history, understanding of the game's roles and modules, I know how to research class and boss fight mechanics correctly. I'm a player always thriving to be the best or at least trying to. I won't take no to min/max in a small amount of time. If I make a mistake, I fix it their and if I can't, I'm a total idiot. I'm not a drama queen, whore, cracker with teeth coming out the side of his face, etc.

Back on the topic though, I'll come to every raid prepared and ready to go on time. Showing up for raids isn't always what an important. I'll be there for when the guild needs me most (10s, farming old instances for gear for progression, etc). LOOT is not my priority. Many people wont say this, but I see my character as the guild owning - NOT ME. I gear my character with the right pieces for the guild's usage and then apply the correct skills to meet class specifics. These are the reasons why I think I'd make a great aspect to your guild.

On subject with where I am now. I've been out of raiding for awhile now, but that doesn't mean I haven't been trying to pug different instances, to keep my stamina from becoming fat. I'm missing some primary objectives and I know I'm not ready for heroic LK or Halion. I know that's where your progression is. I need my four piece (shoulders and legs). Even though the four piece is complete shit because of the proc chance, it's still very viable. I need the badge healing trinket, which is bis for us trees. I haven't been able to gather enough badges for those three pieces, nor has my luck been that great.

I'm also lacking hard modes, but in this tier I don't think that matters. I've seen 7/12 bosses on heroic 10. Not much changing, except more people. I'm also lacking a parse, which I could get, but it will have to wait until next week when I'm in a raid.

Caps are met: gcd cap, enough regen with dual Solace, and *okay* spellpower. Overall you guys are the judges here. So give me some criticism, call me a fucking idiot/tool/dumbass. Point out the curves and I'll fix them asap.
