Looks great. But then again, GW always has. It's the gameplay that they're going to have to convince me has gotten better.

GW1 plus both expansions can be completed in about 80-100 hours. Another 40 hours and you can have full BiS (or just buy some gold online and get most of it instantly). And then that's pretty much it. You can blow some time on getting some pretty armors, but they all have the same stats, so why bother? There's an achievement system you can waste some time in, but it really was not very engaging.

I'm hopeful though, and if the hype remains positive, I'll definitely pick it up. No subscription fee has always been a great part of this game.

It's kind of hard to explain how the two are different in this regard. When I say 80 hours and you're done, I mean done done. Like, you've done every quest and cleared 90% of the content the game has to offer. There are a couple of high difficulty end zones, but nothing like the raiding scene WoW has.

Content-wise, imagine having just BC but with only two 5-man dungeons, half of SSC and nothing else. Oh, and a 10 hour or so leveling experience. And none of it actually challenging or engaging.

pretty you are leaving out the semi competitive pvp aspects from the game, just because you suck at it doesnt make it not part of the game.
