In and out of combat, you can't see my smartres bars, gladius, cd/dr timers, parts of quartz, and a couple other add ons though, I refine and update my UI constantly though. Also almost every button is key bound, I have different key bind profiles for holy, prot, and ret though.

Had to update my ui again... never seem to be content with what I have. Most mods are visible.
Usually I run with damage meters turned off to cut down on ui lag. Also switched from Recount to Skada, which is modular and doesnt chew up nearly as many resources. Havent had a need for Omen in quite some time, but I use MyThreat just to see where I am in relation to the MT. If I enable every mod the whole thing only takes ~13MB (including damage meters, auction mods, etc). I bought a cheapo HD 2600 a while back (it was still better than the onboard card, and I was broke) and while it is generally sufficient, I notice massive amounts of gfx lag while raiding. A large portion of this lag was caused by big ass mods chewing up my system resources. This is what led me to try putting together a very low profile ui that still provided all the bells and whistles of a 50MB+ suite. Im going off memory here (because Im at work, and bored stiff) but here's a list of the mods I use. oUF - a unit frame framework, requires a layout oUF P3lim - layout for displaying player/target/focus/pet. I modified the lua code to adjust position and remove the cast bars. Grid - party/raid frames Dominos -Action bar mod, includes optional xpbar/castbar/rollframe (I only use the rollframe) Quartz -I would normally use AZcastbar due to its smaller memory footprint, but there is a plug-in for quartz to track my eclipse ICD. I previously used squawkandawe, but found that when combined AZ+S&A used roughly the same amount of memory. Mapster - A lightweight cartographer replacement. Doesn't include any profession tracking, map notes, etc. But I found little use for any of the cartographer "extras" to begin with, more so after memorizing my gathering routes. pMinimap - The smallest minimap mod I could find Dockingstation - An LDB display addon (alternative to fubar) tekability - Durability display on character sheet, with LDB support picoGuild - LDB based guild display picoFriends - LDB based friend list display picoFPS - LDB based fps/memory display (think PerformanceFu) tekKompare - Very small replacement for EquipComapre tekJunkSeller - Automatically sells Grey quality items at a vendor. Ampere -Allows me to enable and disable mods on the fly, without relogging elkBuffbars - Buff/Debuff display. This is actually one of the larger "unnecessary" mods I chose to keep using simply for aesthetics. SmartDebuff - Like decursive, with 5 times the utility and 1/3 the memory use. You could use this as a replacement for grid/clique/healbot etc. It really is that robust, though I use it simply for decursing. AuctionLite - A very small Auctioneer replacement. I found the only real use I got out of Auctioneer was price matching/undercutting and the ability to post multiple auctions at once. This mod achieves those two functions quite nicely. Deadly Boss Mods - Its either this... or Bigwigs. Ive always taken issue with bigwigs not feeling "complete" to me, for whatever reason. RatingBuster - Converts item stats into percentages, etc. Making it easier to compare pieces of gear. This mod does use more memory (about 1MB) than I think it should... but what do I know... DoTimer - Keeps track of dots, cooldowns, etc. I like it far better than any other mod for tracking these things. PowerAuras - A mod that provides incredibly customizable visual cues for buff gains/losses and other variables. I use it on the druid for things like Eclipse, Trinket procs, Heroism buffs. On a mage alt I use it to show Hot Streak procs, etc. Prat - A chat frame mod. I could do without this, and free up almost 2MB. I just happen to like having peoples names coloured by class, and a bunch fucking dinging sounds when people talk in guild/whisper/RW, etc. I believe there's a similar mod that uses less memory. (several in fact) But I cant recall the name... I think that Jackslammer is using it... anyone know? Postal -Because I hate opening 50 pieces of mail one by one... Looking at this list, Im sure there are a few mods Ive forgot... but I think this makes up the majority of them. |
