I couldn't agree more, a large risk of GOP representatives is that they appoint justices that ignore the first amendment.

Over 200 years of this country and we have 3 trillion in debt. Obama comes in and doubles it within a year. He is the best.

Bush might have been a terrible president but he did not slap on that much debt. The war in Iraq has maybe added 1 trillion at most. Obama added double that and it hasn't done a thing. Unemployment is still rising, companies still closing, and our country is about to fall into a second recession. You can't blame Bush forever.

Clinton left Bush a balanced budget and negligible debt but in 2001 and 2003 a GOP controlled congress gave our top 2% those dreaded cuts, and let me remind you all this was accomplish much uglier than the "compromise" of today, Cheney nearly had to veto those rich tax cuts, and of course none of these tax cuts were paid for so all the debt was from China. Although according to Republicans this was all dandy because that $700 billion dollars we return to our top 2% would do nothing but stimulate the economy and help everybody out, this is now dubbed, voodoo economics.
Eight years later all evidence is indicative that those tax cuts along with the defense costs of the War on Terror, and partially the sub-prime loans and mortgage crisis, landed us in the recession. As many Democrats and Obama had pointed out the economy is on a rebound this year, with more private sector jobs created than any single year in the last decade and the national debt was set to increase less than any of the previous ten years. Don't get me wrong I believe Obama was just the lesser of two evils, I prefer my more liberal representatives such as Pelosi who I elected when I lived in the bay, or DeFazio who I reelected recently and have gone to his 'town hall' meetings or a quality Libertarian like I voted for in 2004, US Presidential candidate Michael Badnarik, mainly because John Kerry was a joke. It is sad because even when a President does the best he can for every American, with all evidence proving so, their party is likely to flip, Clinton did wonders, and instead of getting Gore, we got Bush in 2000. Pelosi has done great as speaker but instead, the inpatient GOPers and Tea Partiers selfishly desiring too much too soon caused her party heavy causalities in the congress as of late. So we are back to destructive GOP principles and extending those 2% tax cuts again to impede the economy, oh well I guess when FOX news has become the primary source of news for Americans according to FOX news, maybe its time to stop blaming the candidates but rather Americans? :violin:
