What's Our Raid Week?

I noticed on our information sticky, that Jack made the below comment:

We intend to be completed with all content Tuesday through Thursday but Sunday and Monday are additional raid nights for progression.

It got me thinking. Do people want to immediately return to a 5 night week? Have we given any thought to staying a 4-Night Raid Week Guild? 20 hours a week is a long time and I don't think I'd mind if we stuck with our LK schedule of having Thursday, Friday and Saturday off. We may have an easier time getting people here if the commitment was a little less daunting.

Nah. This one at least doesn't have anything to do with 25 vs 10. I just got used to the lax schedule the past few months and it's kinda grown on me.

If we went three day, it would probably be best to keep them grouped up (Tues/Wed/Thurs) - just from an attendance standpoint. I think three days might be too much of a cut back though. That would be a pretty significant change and would definitely slow down our progression. Four days is a bit less dramatic and I don't think it would affect our progress much at all. Hell, you could probably even put forth the argument that giving people an extra day off would increase attendance on our other days and actually improve our progression.

My suggestion for a four day week would be to either remove Sunday or Thursday from our schedule. I think keeping the days off all grouped together would be best.

This is just musing and speculation though. I'd really like to hear what other people think and how much desire there is out there to go super hardcore on content. I definitely think this is something we should discuss now before raiding starts though.

We won't have attendance issues right now, replace flakes who don't show up no matter who they are. I think we should be doing at least Sunday through Thursday since we can't do 10 mans on off-nights and our alts aren't geared enough for PUG raiding yet, I'd even consider raiding Friday and Saturday as well.
