Helping my daughter put together a whale diorama for a school project. Today we work on the oral report she has to give and tomorrow I might have to do some touch ups to the whole thing before it's due on Thursday.

She's seven. The point is not the report itself, what it's about or how it looks. The point is learning how to do reports. You can't just throw a book and a piece of paper at a second grader and say, "Do a report". Dur.

i can tell you as being 10 years closer to that age, and remembering when my mom would help vs do it was me either feigning ignorance or her getting tired of me not having it done. just hope you walk that line closely, also is the 2nd grade teacher hot?
