Only thing obvious I see (mind you, I don't know Priest), is your reforging. Can you explain the choices you've made here? I don't understand why you would reforge both out of and in to Mastery, Hit and Spirit.

He should not be reforging into hit or mastery. Mastery because it sucks atm, and hit because spirit is the same stat with added mp5. :thumbs down: Shadow is still stack haste as far as i know to get the most dot ticks, etc. At least he has dot timers, idk if ours do. In before the, "I'm so pro I don't need timers, those dots tick in my head."

assuming you can make raid dates, yes for trial imo. Excellent experience, well geared, decent dps from what I can see.

Only thing I would suggest fixing is a couple gems / reforging options. I'm not super up to par with spriest gemming / reforging, but it seems to me hit or spirit takes prio over mastery up til cap, and 20 int beats 30 haste (the gemming in your boots / belt).

i can think of a few reasons for "strange" reforgings. maybe he's reforging into and out of some stats because he's sharing gear with his heal set. or you can also do stuff like reforge mastery->spirit on one piece and then spirit->haste on another. also lol@spirit giving extra mp5, which was so wotlk. when the priest out of combat maybe, which can't possibly matter in boss fights.

lol... I didn't feel like addressing that here. Sup that's what I use on my warlock np. I mean, I haaave dot timers in case my dots disappear from the boss plates (sometimes a bug happens where your debuffs aren't listed @ the top :/), but I just have them hidden really small.

That doesn't make any sense. Why not just reforge both of them to Haste?

Outside of hitting various caps, each class should be able to look at their stat prio and all reforging should be into just one or two stats. I don't see why anyone of any class would reforge into more than two stats (again, cap stats like Hit don't count).

So, for example, MMO-Champ (probably wrong, but this is just an example) says that the values of optional stats for SPriest are Haste > Crit > Mastery > Spirit. Based on this list, I would expect that (after hitting his Hit cap) this applicant should be reforging into Haste on everything possible and into Crit on anything that already has Haste. There's no reason to reforge into Mastery or Spirit - these two stats should always* be reforged out of.

*SPriest is kind of a crappy example due to the association between Spirit and Hit (which could cause you to leave or even reforge into Spirit as you worked towards cap), but hopefully that made sense.

Put much more simply: Mastery is clearly a Shadow Priest's worst stat. Why the fuck did you reforge into it?

for my example that i made up, if one piece is mastery/haste and the other is spirit/crit, then you could only do mastery->spirit and then spirit-> haste. you're effectively doing mastery->haste (worst stat to best) while keeping spirit relatively the same. though this isn't necessarily the case here, reforging into/out of the same stats is common if people try to meticulously get just over but not too much of a certain stat (think hit caps for dps, haste plateaus for dot/hot classes)

also agree with can, nerdcrafting means shit just invite him to the next raid and see how he does
