I don't agree with most of what this guy claims but I definitely see where he is coming from. Worth a read.

He wants to defend his past time and his mom at the same time, if I use the analogy above its like saying: "I like whiskey, my mom liked vodka, vodka is WRONG cause my mother neglected me and became alcoholic, but whiskey is ok because since you drink it with other stuff and I don't neglect anyone its clearly vodka's fault. Not my mother's"

You can't blame a game company just as you can't blame whoever bottles booze. He likes to talk about how all those online people are not real friends and yet he is the one living there, seeing the problem first hand and the one NOT DOING ANYTHING about it.

Like you say jack, we can see where he is coming from but most definetly disagree with his perception of western rpgs, i think he doesn't fully understand the problem that his mom had.

Whiskey + soda, jack & coke, 7 & 7 (we usually just call em all wiskey, the proper distinction is only made for the good stuff and like you said those are not mixed with anything)
