Thinking about calling in sick...

I work 2-11pm central tonight, but the thought of missing out on Ulduar really irks me. Only thing I'm worried about is not getting an invite given my Casual Status. Now like I've said already, I don't deserve special treatment and I understand my rank will influence my ability to get in again tonight. That being said, I am at a crossroads...go into work and miss Ulduar, or call off and potentially not get invited, putting my new promotion at work in jeopardy in the process? PLZ HALp!

Well the deed is done. I called my manager directly and asked him how coverage looked tonight, and it turns out we have some extra hands laying around as it is. I told him I had some personal duties to attend to and he said he understood. Only downside is the ~150 bucks I just shot down the drain, and the notion that if I actually do get sick I will probably have to go into work anyway. Thanks for the advice despite me not taking it. I just hope I don't live to wish I had. hock:
