My gem choices are pretty bad, I’m working on changing them.

No WWS or WMO, sorry. But I can promise you I pull 3.2K DPS Unbuffed. You can ask Asier about my performance, I did a VoA with him, told him I was thinking about applying, and after the raid he said he’d like to trial me.

5. We are a raiding guild and ended TBC top 200 US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL fights you will be brought to. In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:

The only difficult bosses are the ones that you/your guild make difficult. If you know the strat for any boss it can be easy mode. But if I had to choose, I’d pick 3D Sarth.

6. Previous guilds/servers and reason for leaving, also include any references we may contact:

Only decent one was Legend and I left because when Ulduar came out, only I and 4 other people were online for it. The GM and his wife weren’t even on.


7. It is assumed you will be available from 8-12 ST (Server Time is EST) Sunday through Thursday. If you can’t, please explain why you couldn't make our scheduled raid times (or why you even bothered applying):

I can make all these times no problem.


8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:

I enjoy topping the charts, because Pre-WotLK I sucked so hard at this game. Then when Lich King came out I put all the time and devotion needed (plus some) into making myself the best player I can be. I enjoy the way I turned out, ya know, topping the DPS meters is pretty awesome. Also, I enjoy the fact that I am not your stereo-typical huntard. I actually can misdirect and I am not a seven year old. I am a good and devoted player and you will find that out.

10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?

You down things quick and make them seem easy. Your players are elite and intense with the game. Just like me. So basically, your guild is pro and looks for the same thing as me when it comes to raiding. Also, I found it convenient that you were looking for Hunters.

11. Add anything else you think we’d find interest, such as you’re a GM, you recorded WWS for your old guild, you were an officer or did assignments in a past guild, tracked DKP and distributed loot, or anything else noteworthy

I have Officer Experience in the past, I ran a couple raids in Legend, and I’m not a complete idiot so I can track DKP and distribute loot. I did a raid with Asier, we have about equal gear and I was pulling more DPS than him. He said he’d like to trial me.

Didn't do a complete run (it was 25 VoA) but he was top DPS while he was in. Left because of apartment-wide power loss.

Barring further power outages and a severe lack of gear (and no 3D achievement?), I think he'd be good to trial.

Some questions to put in your direction about your Survival spec -

I know Imp Hawk is nice, but the talents that you have selectively dropped are 2 points in mortal shots, Wyvern Sting + Noxious Stings. Why is that?

Why did you keep Resourcefulness and drop Mortal shots?

Most bosses (If not all) are immune to the sleep effect of Wyvern Sting, which means that the nature damage can't take place. So this pretty much negates the effect of the Wyvernsting. And too me, the 3% increase to Serpent sting doesn't compare to the 15% speed increase of Imp Hawk. Plus, with Black Arrow, Serpent Sting's damage is already increased a good amount. My final reason that even if I could Wyvern Sting a boss, the Glyph of Steady Shot increases Steady shots damage by 10% if the target is affected by Serpent Sting, and I think that would be better then Wyvern Sting anyway.

And personally, I like being able to put Black Arrow on the target, so it kind of goes along with my reason for not taking Wyvern Sting. Also because my Hunter is a mana whore and I need to be able to keep all the mana I can!

Sadly the haste does not affect your Explosive Shot damage, which as survival is a shitload to a fuckton of percent of your damage. The haste only affects your Range haste, so the haste does not affect a majority of your damaging moves. For this haste you've dropped 12% bonus crit damage and 3% bonus overall damage, which is huge. Of course Wyvern Sting isn't boss effective, but the Noxious stings part is.

What glyphs are you using? If you are not using Kill Shot or Explosive Shot as Survival, go back to where you came from. The third, ideal, glyph you should be using is Serpent Sting and not Steady Shot, because having a longer Sting means less time fucking your rotation to maintain it, and more Steady Shots or other shots to go with. Thus the Noxious Stings bonus would be more apparent.

For now I'm going to say thanks for apping, try coming to our PuG Ulduar/Naxx if you want to gear up, but beyond that, you're a little less geared than what we need for Ulduar hard modes. Good luck.
