Flask and potions doesn't fix stupid. I see only one person of consequence that didn't use a potion, and everyone used a flask or elixir. Frostitude popping a wild potion wouldn't have saved us from 3 people getting hit by boss mechanics and a person dc'ing.
Regardless the lack of using a potion on EVERY fight is kinda of disturbing seeing as we pop heroism on hodir on the first flash freeze and its not the players job to call a wipe. Every attempt is a kill from the start until its marked other wise.
I dont see what the big deal is, I made 120 wild growths just doing 1 days worth of dailies for my lock and that lasts at the very least 2-3 weeks.

If we're doing hard modes we can't lose sight of what the individual could bring. We had Burlock DC and we nearly got it. Had everyone been putting in max focus, the fuck ups people make would have been covered by the rest of our play. It's when you don't prepare and take the content as prepared as you can be that fights break down to NO ROOM FOR FUCK UPS PERIOD. And everyone botches something now and then.

If Burlock, Cahnt, Determine, Ethax, Frost, Regolith, Roj, Sharf, and Zahny would've have used pots we would've gotten hard mode.
If Burlock, Ethax, and Stek didn't fucked up and/or disconnect we would've gotten hard mode.
So how do we fix it?
Replace the people who fucked up and disconnected? Teach people how not to be "stupid"?
Or use pots?
Or if we were really good we could not fuck up, disconnect, and use pots! But let's work on the using pots thing for now since that is the easiest and what this thread is about.

I switched from pot to elixir... I can switch back if it would be beneficial. Just means someone else is gonna make all my fucking flasks.
EDIT: Im actually going to switch to pot spec, regardless.

But she has 2p T5.
And I'm sorry if I've been a dick lately, but I'm just frustrated that people are not doing the best to get the max out of their class. Maybe that's just a caster shaman thing, since we have to make up our class faults with better play to make up for the fact that our dps just can't match true caster dps. 14k on Hodir is a pipe dream for me, but Frost could get it np. That being said, if I was actually going to quit, I would have done it during week two when we failed Yogg due to clouds. I like it here, so I'm sticking around, but I'm going to go nuts if people aren't trying to maximize what their class has to offer.
