If you do not see your class on this list, that does not mean there is no spot for you. We are always looking for solid players. If you think you can outperform any of our current members, come show us what you've got.
Secondary specs are a very big plus. A Resto Druid with a solid Boomkin offspec will be much more desirable than someone with two Resto Specs.
All applicants are highly encouraged to sign up for one of our three WLPH Hosted PUG Runs (Fri, Sat, Sun). When signing up for a PUG run, if you are interested in a trial for main raid spot, say so in your sign up.
If you just want an invite and you don't care to raid, just PST an officer (mainly Abec) and ask for a friends invite. Friends rank != Raiding spot, but at least you can chill with us badasses.
Finally, if you want your app to be taken seriously, please refer to the below list that was modified from the Casual recruitment forums. This is not an app. Our app can be found here. These are just some things you should be thinking about as you apply - because it's what we're thinking about when we review your application. THEENX KUROE.
1. Is your gear enchanted and gemmed properly? Are you using the highest level gems and enchantments on all your gear?
2. Do you have appropriate raid experience for our progression level? (If you don't, you'll want to provide good reasons why you don't and why you think we should consider you anyway).
3. Do you know WHY you spec/gear the way you do? If you are asked questions about your spec/gemming/enchanting choices, will you be able to answer?
4. What does your past history with your old guilds say about you as a player?
5. Will you really really be able to conform to our raid schedule? Showing up three days a week is simply not acceptable. We understand that life happens, but we raid with a very small core and expect our raiders to have 90% or higher attendance.
6. Your guild application should be treated like a job application. If you can't coherently answer a few questions about why we should recruit you, how can we expect you to be able to fill a complex position within our raid?
7. Are you a fit for our guild environment? We are very loosely structured and highly judgmental. Many of our members are very critical of performance. Our applicants are treated harshly until they prove themselves. If you stand in a fire, you will be called a fucking moron. If that offends you, this guild is not for you.
On the other hand, if that galvanizes you to want to perform better next time, then there just might be a spot for you in WLPH.
