5. We are a raiding guild and ended TBC top 200 US; it is expected you have raiding experience and know ALL fights you will be brought to. In your opinion, what is the most difficult boss encounter you have ever defeated and why?:
In my opinion, the hardest boss I've ever downed was Lady Vashj in SSC. There are so many things going on at one time as far as adds spawning that have to be killed by different kinds of DPS, and ands that have to be kited. Then of course the elementals that spawn that drop the cores to make it possible for Vashj to be taken out of phase 2. The level of synergy needed among the raid, in my opinion, is very high.

<outlaws> Left start raiding. Current GM- Irra
<Widow Makers> Left due to a large majority of the raiders xfer
<Seraphim> Was gkicked for reasons unknown to me. Contacts- Most of the officers in <Karma>
<Pandoras Mighty Soldiers> I was mainly in this guild only because an IRL friend was, didn't raid with them on a regular basis due to RL conflicts.
<Epiphany> currently still in this guild, raiding frequency has declined drastically, so looking for new options.

I work two days a week, and most of the time I'm scheduled on the weekend (Fri-Sun).

8. Explain what specifically puts you at the top? We raid to be at the top and expect it of all our members. Do you take pride in topping meters, never letting the tank die, never pulling aggro, etc.? What separates you from the rest? Be specific, this will be a major indicator of the kind of player you are:

I try to do as much dps as possible at all times, making sure my gear is gemmed and enchanted in way that will make my dps as high as possible. As far as pulling aggro, I usually feign death when ever I'm above 60% aggro. I'm not a person to give up easily and I like a good, challenging, boss fight.

9. Post a screen shot of your UI (Thumbnail Please) or a comprehensive list of mods that you use for raiding. ARE YOU A CLICKER?
I use: Big Wigs, Recount, Bartender 4, Kharthus Hunter Timers, and on occasion, Xperl. I only click spells that are not in my rotation.

10. If you have thoroughly answered the following questions and you are confident you are what we are looking for, you have a good chance of being trialed, but we'd like to know why you want to join us? What made you choose us over the other guilds out there?
I've only heard good things about this guild as far as raiding progression, and also it seems to me that this guild isn't full of uptight anal officers (due to the guild name etc.).

This is for the Ulduar PuG sign-ups. You will be WoWArmory checked. Make sure you post your main if you want to come on an alt to show an achievement. People with clear experience will be given priority invites, as long as they are geared.

Loot: Runed Orbs + Patterns are currently WLPH reserved. If one of the other top raiding guilds brings 6-7 alts or benchwarmers, we have no problems splitting Orbs and Patterns between us and them. No other items will be reserved, and all items are up for grabs. Loot will be handled by the Tally System, with a 1 Tier Item per person limit. Tallies from Friday will not roll over to Saturday.

Person with the least amount of tallies wins. Tiebreaker will be the roll value. This ensures loot is fairly spread out to people, as long as people are rolling on loot.

NOTE - If you want to sign up, and your list is full, and you don't want to be a waitlist? A good way is to show off how much more of a badass you are compared to someone else, like Hard Mode achievements, weapons, gear, etc. I will take more experienced and geared people first. Always. I'm aiming to kill Yogg in a PuG before Stasis clears Kologarn after all.

ADDITION - Because I'm having a lot more sign ups than I expected, I'm putting a lot of people on waitlist and will filter through their gear and logs later instead of just adding you. We can clear it pretty quick after ulduar pug stops, it was pretty successful last night and the week before so i thought id just make a sign up for it so our raiders will know about it. If you are a dps class don't bother signing up if you cant pull at the least 2800 dps.

Loot will be handled by the Tally System as it always has been, with a 1 Tier Item per person limit. A item or two might be on reserve it for main raiders but it won't be all kt loot or any ridiculous amount of items. Signet of Manifested Pain and Voice of Reason are the only two on reserve for this coming friday.

I think the most difficult encounter that I have defeated would be C’thun, and sadly the most difficult part of the fight for us was running from the eye beam. Unfortunately my guild fell apart on M’uru and I didn’t get to see the learning curve for that or Kil’jaeden otherwise I would say one of those was the most difficult.

I have only been on one sever:

Obscured Reasoning ~ Guild fell apart on 4 horse men a few months before the expansion.
Burning crusade:
Requital ~ Joined with friends and eventually moved on because I wasn’t happy with casual raiding.
Nullus Secundus ~ Guild fell apart not far into Sunwell.
Downfall ~ Guild fell apart on M’uru.
Moment of Silence ~ Joined with the agreement that I was just staying to see Sunwell cleared before WotLK, I left when a bunch of people from my previous guild, Downfall, formed a new guild called ascend.
WotLK:
Ascend ~ This is the only guild I have played in for WotLK. This is a decent guild and I almost didn’t want to leave. But it has gotten to the point that I dreaded raiding some nights and I would be glad if a raid was canceled. I know that every guild has their emo crybabies, but there was just too much of it here, and when a big drama came our healing officer gquit, I followed since he is my closest friend in that guild. ~ GM is suruf/naito, you may contact anyone with the guild tag

This is fine, it’s the same raiding times I have had since MC.

Ok I admit I enjoy toping meters and competing with other healers on farm content, but I control the urge for the most part. What makes me a worthwhile player is that I am always looking to improve. I have healed as a resto druid since molten core but I still look for ways to be better. I am not a person to spam heal to be on top of meters just so I look good, it’s more important to worry about what benefits the raid best.

Some of the mods I use are DBM, xperl, decursive, dominos, fubar, itemrack and recount.

Am I a clicker? Well I admit that when I first started WoW I lvled as a resto speced melee druid in caster form who was a clicker, but those days are behind me. I was infected with the keyboard turner disease but I am cured except for a few setbacks every once in awhile.

I am not gonna lie and say that I have always admired your guild and all that bs, I came across your guild while browsing for a new home just like everyone who has probably applied. What caught my eye and made me want to apply to this guild first was actually your website. Every other website I looked at the first thing you noticed is how full of themselves they are, but my first impression of yours is that you might be fun players as well as good.

I was an officer 3 times before; I was druid class officer back in the 40 man raid days, a healing officer once, and a sort of assistant officer who just helped with healing assignments.


If I left anything out or you have questions, feel free to ask. Also any feedback on how the server is would be appreciated, I have run around as a low level but it’s hard to gage.
