For the most part. Could be better, but I don't think it held us back. There are definitely specific offenders in each category, but the bigger issue was all of these things as a whole were bad. Maybe its been an off-week so far but we need to step shit up.

It's why I made that comment about recruiting last night. Maybe people would care more if they knew they actually had to work for their raid spot, as opposed to just showing up since we have no other option but to bring them.

It's funny how everyone talks about kicking the bads and recruiting replacements but not a single soul does anything to try and recruit. Finding talent is not easy. It's even harder on a realm like Scilla. Real talent is drawn to Casual and, let's face it, we're not anything special enough right now to entice server transfers.

There is no easy solution to this. Hell, there may be no solution at all - short of taking our core and server transferring. It just irritates me when people say stuff like "just recruit so people have to perform for their spot" because there's no "just" in building a roster of 30-35 active raiders.

Not trying to pick on Furly. Lots of people say similar stuff. And I'm just as guilty as everyone else of being inactive in our search for recruits. I've known for a few days now that we need an extra healer or two, but I haven't done much about it.


TLDR: Talk is cheap. You want a better raid environment? Stop whining about it and help us get the people to do so.

WTF 3200. I'll get mumble going today when I get home from work. Didn't see it before I went to bed and didn't have time this morning. Make sure I can mute Lawler. Maybe it'll have a way that I can just bind "Mute Lawler" to a mouse button.
