Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - Firecrest - 07-14-2011 Good enough. Like I said, feel free to whisper an officer for an invite. Next raid day is Sunday. Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - ArchmageFurly in three days - 07-16-2011 His video shows he's a clicker and a reactive healer. Edit: Then again most of our healers are. Nothing wring with that, but m/o macros would be my preference in most cases. Not that it matters how you play, so long as the desired result is achieved. Im more impressed by the use of a functional ui. Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - ragelol - 07-16-2011 I would agree with Hitshade here, the clicking isn't a huge issue if people aren't dying and the UI is fine. But I really would recommend mouse-over macros to prevent healing a target you didn't mean to and to save a few fractions of a second Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - xnskzzxnvs - 07-16-2011 not sure if you guys are serious, but i have both clickcasting (via clique) and mouseover macros (via impliedtarget) bound and i use them both (i had an issue with addon errors with clique somewhile back), and they are exactly the same with the exception of which finger i'm using to physically press which button/key: clickcasting: 1. mouseover the mouse cursor over a unitframe 2. click a mouse button (different mouse button or combination of mouse buttons correspond to different heals) mouseover macros: 1. mouseover the mouse cursor over a unitframe 2. click a keyboard button (different keyboard buttons or combination of keyboard buttons correspond to different heals) Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - lawlerbation the hardcore squatter - 07-16-2011 O COME ON NIGGAZ mouse overs are where its at IN MY HAY DAY I HAD 3 DIFFERENT CHAIN HEALS BOUND TO 3 DIFFERENT MOUSE OvER BUTTONZ YO Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - Firecrest - 07-16-2011 ArchmageFurly Wrote:His video shows he's a clicker and a reactive healer. So long as he's not clicking spells, I don't care. What it looked like he does from his video was to target a player from grid then use a healing ability. Also Alyse, he clicks his cooldowns. I'm not saying don't trial him, I want him to be trialed. But I'm venturing a guess based on a tiny detail that he isn't going to be incredible. Then again we're not in a position where we can ask for incredible, functional is good enough. Re: Staccato - Holy Paladin - jackslammer - 07-17-2011 I think Alyse clicks Holy Radiance and Light of Dawn, and misclicks them often. It's not even a habit either, if it makes you feel better, I can bind it to shift7. |
