Quote:The machine running your voice server appears to have rebooted itself at 2:25pm CDT today. It came back up right away, but servers didn't automatically start, so we have started any strays up now.

The logfile for the machine simply cuts off, so it's not clear why this happened, but we suspect that it relates to a Sandy Bridge bug related to CPU C-state power transitions. We are looking into whether we can address this without rebooting the machine again, but may need to schedule a maintenance event to adjust BIOS settings.

Quote: Due to your current machine's recent crash, we are moving all of its servers to a different node in Chicago. We are planning do this between 11am and noon CDT on Sunday, July 31; when the move occurs, you will see up to a few minutes of downtime. Your server will be brought back online automatically, with its port retained and all of its settings intact.

If this time won't work for you, please let us know, and we can provide for you a temporary alternate server at a different location.

(If the current machine crashes between now and the scheduled maintenance window, which is unlikely, we will perform the move early, right then, to minimize downtime.)
