Well you can always read what critics say about films on Rotten Tomatoes, The Hurt Locker received about 184 positive reviews and 5 negative reviews from distinguished critics. You guys should start a new Academy and tell the other 97% of critics they are wrong, I'd call it the The Tea Party Awards, take back the film industry!
