I suggest springing for this one if you possibly can. The processor it uses is fairly new and is the fastest one you can get in a laptop. Good videocard, windows 7, 7200 rpm hd and a quadcore processor for 1500 is a really good deal.
I'm considering pawning my current laptop off on my brother and getting one of these.

so heres the deal...my parents will only get me a laptop and i dont have any money of my own so i'm relying on them here...they want to get me a laptop because they think its necessary for college and i want one because i go a lot of places and shit...i won't be running any games much more stressful than WoW and my parents don't want to get me a computer for gaming...so i need to trick them into buying me a gaming laptop..i don't think they will believe i need quad-core for word processing.
