Shadow Priests more OP now than in Beta! - Sharfalma - 01-21-2009 Remember when shadow priests could chain cast sleep, fear, and their bubbles took about 12 seconds of burst DPS to break through? Well I just found something even better. http://shadowpriest.com/viewtopic.php?p=169317#p169317 I don't normally enjoy the opinions or company of "shadowpriest.com people" but they did the math so whatev. TL;DR? Mind Flay got fixed alright. Instead of getting a slight scaling buff there is a bug that causes Misery to increase each tick of Mind Flay by 15% instead of scaling it over the entire spell. Priests are reporting 6.5K DPS on Patchwerk and easily a 15-20% boost in overall damage coupled with the original bug fix for the last tick of MF failing to tick. Can't wait for the raid tonight. Subsequently, there is apparently an additional bug where hunter's serpent sting is giving a raid wide +3% damage boost, instead of just a personal DPS gain. Rumors say that multiple stings stack the effect, wherein 3 hunters would be a 9% damage boost against the target the sting is applied to. The More You Know. ~--==>* Re: Shadow Priests more OP now than in Beta! - Nouhstekehue - 01-21-2009 two-minute patchwerk inc?
