Blegh - Riinuka - 06-02-2011

Just got back from being stuck in the hospital again. Really bad cough, they say I may have chronic bronchitis.

Last year I had it for about 2 months. This doesn't seem to be as bad but it did cause me to have to go in last night at about 5 p.m. when I woke up. Couldn't breathe.

They gave me some crap called Guaifenesin with Hydrocodone, reading it..


Next Tues is clear. I won't be here next Wednesday at first. There's a work function and it's from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (6 - 10 server). I'm off Thursday in exchange, though.. /shrug.

I might take next Monday off if it seems like it wouldn't be wasted. Not sure.

Welcome to the club. Hot salt water helps a ton with clearing out the mucus. Hot showers so that it steams also helps so you can cough up all that mucus.

From there just avoid soda and any really syrup drink. And if it doesn't go away in two weeks get checked out again because if it lasts a long time it may be pneumonia and not bronchitis.
