Firelands DKP Normalization - Firecrest - 06-28-2011
Has been completed and is reflected currently online. For those not familiar with the process, this is something we do at the start of each new tier of raid content. I take everyone’s current DKP and normalize it to give us an average level of about 150 DKP. This ensures that the people with top DKP going into an expansion can still have dibs on first loot, but won’t be able to take more than one piece before they’re back down to the same levels as everyone else.
For this round, I removed people with 300 or less DKP and people who have not raided with us in the past two months. If you don’t see your name on the current DKP list, chances are you fell into one of these two groups.
Please feel free to bring up rational questions and concerns in a private message through the boards or in game. If you want to be a smart alec and/or bitch and moan without cause, feel free to do so in this thread.

Jack is taking a leave of absence for the next couple months, and during that time I will pick back up on doing DKP.

yea... my dkp wasnt accurate before the normaliziation I should have had about 100 more dkp than I currently had, an axe was accredited to me but I have no purchased one.

good thing everything was normalized... so it doesn't really matter

also the account management part of blizzard's site is down..i can't add game time to my account currently.

It's too hard for me to go back and do the real math, but napkin math says that increase would only translate to maybe 10-15 DKP. Looking at it, I don't see that this would put you ahead of anyone who may roll against you on an item, so I'm inclined to leave it as is unless it's a really big deal?

We will attempt to raid today. I'm assuming some hiccups, but I expect that we will actually do some raiding.

congrats on getting a boss guys. i won't be on this week, i'm going out of town this weekend and have a lot to do to help my granddad prepare the boat, do shit around the house, etc. i'll be back in full force next week.
