you are right they wait for stomp before they move to crystal. some more things
- half of those videos they don't even move the boss at all
- they have healers that don't cry if people get yellow beams instead of blue beams and just heal them up anyway
- they (and i also randomly clicked on a few of the latest kills on wol (and also looked at their wipes)) have way higher healing throughput
i guess healers just need to stand still heal more qq less and stop blaming dps and abec :'(

Not that I was in raid last night, but I said this before (like 2 months ago). Healers have been too afraid to use mana hard casting big heals whether it be on a tank or healing large scale raid damage. Our best healers end fights close to empty on mana and aren't afraid to overheal. My understanding of the fight is that provided people are retarded healers should have a decent regen period which only further supports dumping out huge heals. I realize healing has changed since I did it in Sunwell, but at its core I don't the mechanics of how to optimize healing have. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

So basically Melee moving to our crystals 5-7 sec before it explodes is pointless? and after watching the people that soak the crystals stacking at the last possible 2 sec as to not waste time running there back and there... our earlier strats were right on the money just didn't have heals correct?

you still take less damage if everyone has BLUE (right on top inside the crystal) beams instead of yellow beams (some are near/round/close), but healers have to stop sucking and just heal stuff

We can still tweak our strat especially as far as healing, I'll look into logs and other guild's kills more closely before Tuesday and talk to healers. I wouldn't say this encounter is all execution yet but we are plenty close to kill this in a dozen or so more attempts.
