Donating plasma does take up to two hours. It's uncomfortable and slow. But you can donate often and they usually have incentives (aka donate plasma 5 times in the next six weeks and get an extra 20 bucks on your "blood card"!) It's not painful, just weird- mainly because when they take the plasma out they have to replenish you with saline. And if you have not yet experienced that... be prepared to feel extremely cold throughout your entire body for a few hours! Enjoy buying things with your blood money!
