game is so alpha buggy its ridiculous. .
-wanna find a server? gl finding one at just the right population, during daytime, 3rd person setting, at the right dayz patch, at the right arma2 beta patch, at the right battleeye patch, on the difficulty of your choice, and luckily at the right ping(through the six launcher everyone is 9999)
-theres desync(you move around but on the server and to others youre standing still ready to be shot)
-players have discovered a way to simply hack in items, kill dude with an as50? be careful because rocket(the creator) has said he bans people holding hacked items in their inventory
-lag becomes a very big issue with zombies and players and hit registration
rocket is a cool guy though, i expect good things from dayz development

I've heard so much about DayZ but haven't been impressed by a single thing I've read, why is it getting so much attention? Isn't it just like a mod to turn that shitty game engine ARMA into Stalker with multiplayer? Explain!
Oh and I bought DYAD for PS3, it's sex.

its the threat of a dangerous landscape, the chance to discover rare items that can give an advantage over other players, and just the ridiculous size of the map these things can be done in. think of it like cod except you respawn with no items, you mostly play to pvp
