Zelda on the wii remote is fucking gay, they should do something like the metal gear solid swing system with the joystick. The preview looked really cartoonish and I think they're taking a bad turn with all the Zelda games.

The mickey game will blow. It's probably built for children and adults

Kirby looked interesting might be something new and fun like paper Mario was.

I've never tried the metroid games. But it'd try this one it looked playable.

Donkey Kong might be awesome, and bring back some old memories I hope they don't blow it.

I doubt the 3D game boy will do be work as they said, they had them set up so you could only see them from one angle. A lot of that non-3D glasses stuff only works if you're standing on top of a chair with your knees bent with your head tilted on a 30 degree angle.

N64 was the shit. When the Gamecube came out I didn't even pay attention. Not worth it. 64 was the last Nintendo console I bothered with.. aside from a DS I got as a present. :/

Easily. Old-School (aka REAL) gamers know Nintendo has sucked for years. The last decent console Nintendo released was the 64, and even that wasn't impressive compared to what was available at the time. But the damn kids and their soccer moms love the Wii. I'm not saying they don't have good business sense... in a way Nintendo is very much like Apple, in that they produce complete garbage, but people (idiots) eat it up.

I'll agree that since the N64, Nintendo has definitely fallen from their god tier status, arguably even started sucking, but that wasn't what we were talking about at all. Pretty much everything Nintendo talked about at E3 looks fantastic at best, and interesting at least. A new Metroid and (real) Donkey Kong game, a new Kirby game that looks like it's going to be fun, a new Zelda game that's actually taking advantage of the Wiimote, and a new platformer/puzzle game that looks like it's going to have massive worlds that the player can change (Epic Mickey) and a handheld system with fantastic graphics and the ability to be in 3D, a function which appears to actually work well by all the reviews I've read.

Also, calling what Nintendo's been making the past couple of years garbage just because they aren't focusing on your genre of games is just silly.
