after 6 hours or so i decided to go with this. i had hud as my only castbar at first but that was too awkward to get used to.

when servers come back i think im going to download lunar sphere. This will clear up about half of my action bars, because having 143124 buttons flash the GCD brings my fps down to like 15
atleast i fixed my HuD and now can do decent dmg instead of trying to figure out what im targetting

as a dps class i have the luxury to sit back and hold my dick while I enjoy how aesthetically pleasing my ui is while as a healing class much more attention is required

Get OPie. Infinitely more badass, only takes up screen space when you activate it and isn't limited to any particular class. http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...-OPie.html

HITSHADE UI v4.0 IS NOW AVAILABLE
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/in...x1050.html The new version has slightly less focus on memory use. (Older versions used 5-8MB during raids, v4.0 uses 8-10MB) The focus on memory use was relaxed slightly to allow for mods that are far easier to update, maintain and customize for anyone not familiar with coding lua. v4.0 is much friendlier to tanks and healers with the removal of oUF based unit frames. While oUF layouts are as lightweight as you could hope to get... its nearly impossible to find a layout you like with all the options you require without writing the entire layout from scratch. For most people, this is simply too much of a pain in the ass. As such Ive switched to STUF unit frames. It is easily as customizable as Pitbull, while still maintaining surprisingly low memory use. As always the UI is geared towards raiders. The idea being to provide the most information possible in a very easy to read format while being far more aesthetically pleasing than the standard WoW UI. There are still some tweaks I would like to make here and there, but overall this version of the UI still manages to use only a small portion of the screen to display such a wealth of easily readable data. |
