I swear you guys overthink loot. I didn't even look beforehand at the Ulduar or TotC loot tables because I didn't care. When something dropped I looked at it and if it was an upgrade I rolled. And it seems like I got plenty of gear plenty fast. I'd try this new gamebreaking formula for deciding if you should roll for loot:
Situation #1: Item is an upgrade - /roll
Situation #2: Item isn't an upgrade - don't /roll
Situation #1: Item is an upgrade - /roll
Situation #2: Item isn't an upgrade - don't /roll
