The Men Who Stare at Goats.

I agree however I think Inglorious Basterds is his best film since Pulp Fiction, and my third favorite film of his. Christopher Waltz's performance and the screenplay were without a doubt Oscar worthy, although The Hurt Locker took home the Oscar for screenplay.

The Hurt Locker is fucking amazing, but the thing about it is it doesn't countdown to a climax, it is incredibly unfocused, and botches a lot of suspense, but that's the nature of the content. I prefer my war movies to be completely unpredictable and all over the place, it is very easy to compare The Hurt Locker to Apocalypse Now, however in Apocalypse Now they are on a river with a destination while in The Hurt Locker they are in a desert with no destination.

I'm anxious as hell to see a The Hurt Locker Redux after hearing that over two hundred hours of film were shot for The Hurt Locker, which brought the shooting ratio to 100:1. The 100:1 ratio is one of the higher ratios in film and even surpasses that of Apocalypse Now.
