My guess is that they are gladiator mounts since 'deadly' gladiators (very top team of each bracket in each battle group) will have a distinguishable mount from 'hateful' gladiators which represent the top 0.5% of their bracket in its battle group, unlike past seasons when all gladiators (top teams and top 0.5%) received the same mount.
However these two mounts were added to represent the aforementioned mounts which wouldn't be gladiator mounts.
Ironbound Proto-Drake - Summons and dismisses a rideable Ironbound Proto-Drake. This is a very fast mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland or Northrend.
Rusted Proto-Drake - Summons and dismisses a rideable Rusted Proto-Drake. This is a very fast mount. This mount can only be summoned in Outland or Northrend.
However these two mounts were added to represent the aforementioned mounts which wouldn't be gladiator mounts.
