After garnering endorsements and support from the Tea Party movement, O'Donnell defeated the establishment Republican candidate, nine-term U.S. Representative and former Delaware governor Mike Castle, by more than 3,500 votes in the 2010 primary, in a surprising upset that was seen both as an indicator of rising Tea Party strength and an indication of fractures within the GOP.
Christine O'Donnell is a miracle of nature. A gift from a very twisted god. Her election last night was like finding Bigfoot giving a piggyback ride to a Jackalope. How does anyone on the national scene manage to be so "Grift-tacular" that they make Sarah Palin look like Margaret Thatcher? Well, join me as we untwist the cap and take a deep whiff of Christine O'Donnell:
1) In 1994 she was sued by her college for unpaid expenses. In 2000 the judgement, still unpaid, was transferred to California, where she had moved to. She paid it in 2003. (They withheld her degree for non-payment until just a few weeks ago. Ms. O'Donnell never let this detail stand in her way of claiming she had a college degree.)
2) Ms. O'donnell sued her former employer in 2005, who promptly counter-claimed that she had been running her own business while on the clock. She dropped the suit in 2008, citing lack of money. (Ms. O'Donnell claimed that being fired from her job had robbed her of the increased earning potential that a Masters degree from Princeton would have given her. Never mind she didn't even have a Bachelor's degree at the time, nor had she been accepted into the Princeton Masters program. Damn Lamestream media!)
3) In 2008 she defaulted on her mortgage. Prior to the foreclosure sale she sold the house to her boyfriend at the time. Her boyfriend also happened to work for her campaign. (She claims she was unaware of the foreclosure because she wasn't notified by the bank. Now, prior to any foreclosure the county nails a big "Notice of Default" to your front door, but c'mon, she probably thought it was neighborhood kids playing a prank! Damn kids, liberal parents most likely.)
4) She continued to live in the house and pay rent to her boyfriend. During this period the city received numerous complaints about her upkeep of her house i.e. high grass, weeds. (A neighbor said Possums were holed up in her yard, which might explain the strangers lurking in her yard that she has complained about! Anyway, the yard was a safe-house for Possums and a breeding ground for mice that later infested the neighborhood. She was ticketed by the city for her yard in September 2008. Big government strikes again!)
5) After an apparent breakup with her landlord/platonic, non-masturbating boyfriend, she was evicted from the house in 2009 and moved in with a friend. She then moved into her current residence which she shares with a man who describes himself as a "Christian Rock Singer". While her roommate is busy singing "Stryper" in the shower Ms. O'Donnell pays half of her rent with campaign funds, saying it's her campaign headquarters.
6) In March of THIS YEAR the IRS placed a tax lien on her. She is also currently being audited by the IRS. (Ms. O'Donnell chalks all of this up to "a computer error." I'm going to try telling my creditors that from now on..."computer error!" You can't trust those new fangled machines!)
7) In addition to her unpaid campaign debt from her 2008 Senate run, Ms. O'Donnell has been cited by the FEC eight times between 2007 and 2009 for failure to report contributions. (Most people agree that "To Hell With The Devil" was Styper's best album, and showed much more versatility than their debut effort "The Yellow and Black Attack.")
8) And as a cherry on top there are Ms. O'donnell's Christianist bona fides; her denial of evolution, belief in abstinence, condemning of masturbation(!), and her belief that lying to Nazi's about having Jews hiding under your floorboards makes baby Jesus cry.
